44 today.  I feel as if I have learnt more about what is going on around me in the last 28 days, than I have in the previous 44 years, less 28 days.

Why?  For the last 28 days, I have been discovering Blogs, Wikis and RSS Feeds properly for the first time and making a serious attempt to participate more actively in a variety of technologies that are commonly known as Web 2.0.

Over the years, I have generally had an insatiable appetite for learning and personal development, especially in relation to others, for whom my own love of sports coaching provides one particular roadmap through which I can satisfy this.

Today, I further resolve to travel along another roadmap, that of the inter-connected and ever smaller global world of bloggers.

I am no different to anyone else.  I would like to be inspired on a daily basis and want to gain new insights and fresh perspectives to help me in my daily work, whether at work, at home or at play.

This month of December has indeed been a new beginning reading of others’ experiences and wisdom gained.  I wish myself happy first birthday as a blogger and anyone else who shares a birthday today.  Thank you to everyone who has taught me and inspired me this month.
